The blog will give you a sample of life in our school. All our staff, pupils and parents strive to make our school a happy place where learning is the central focus.
With a current enrolment of 117 children, the school prides itself on the quality of its pastoral care, its academic success, its strong sporting ethos, the quality of relations at all levels and its links with parents, the parish and the community. Children benefit from a wealth of experiences ranging from academic and sporting to pastoral with emphasis on positive relationships and inclusion.

Parent Information
Please return all data collection forms and other important information to the school as soon as possible.
Linguistic Phonics Evening
We have invited Ann McKinless from the SELB’s Literacy Team to speak with the parents of children in Primary 1,2 and 3 here in the school. Mrs McKinless will explain the principals that underpin Linguistic Phonics and more importantly the role that parents need to play in the reading process. The talk will begin at 7pm on Tuesday 14th of September and it is vitally important that any parent who will be working on reading with their child at home attends this session.
Primary 1 Assembly
The first assembly of the school year will take place at 11.30 a.m. on Friday 17th in the school hall. The children from Primary 1 will be receiving the DVD of their ‘First day at School’ and everyone is welcome to attend.

After school clubs will begin again next week. Gaelic Football Club ( Primary 4 , 5 6 and 7) and Cooking Club (Primary 5,6 and 7) will be held on Tuesdays from 3pm until 4pm. Cooking Club will cost £6 for the six week club and the first 20 names in with payment will join the club. Camogie Club will take place on Wednesdays for girls from P3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
