The blog will give you a sample of life in our school. All our staff, pupils and parents strive to make our school a happy place where learning is the central focus.
With a current enrolment of 117 children, the school prides itself on the quality of its pastoral care, its academic success, its strong sporting ethos, the quality of relations at all levels and its links with parents, the parish and the community. Children benefit from a wealth of experiences ranging from academic and sporting to pastoral with emphasis on positive relationships and inclusion.

Monday 20 December 2010

Due to the usually hard weather we are experiencing, we have had to change some of the arrangements for the coming week. Our Christmas show will take place tomorrow Tuesday 21st at 1.30pm in the Parochial Hall. We are very aware that this will present problems for some parents getting to see the show but the safety of everyone must take priority. We feel that this is a better option than taking children, parents and staff out at night in such dangerous conditions. The show will finish at around 3.30pm and all children will be going home at that stage. We will be running a raffle as usual and we would appreciate any prizes that parents feel that they would like to donate. We hope to video the show tomorrow and DVDs will be available after Christmas.

School Holidays

School will finish up on Thursday 23rd December at 11am and children return to school on Friday 7th of January 2011.

Primary 0ne Party!

Primary One children celebrated their party on Friday 3rd of December. Mrs Magill, Mrs McGleenan and Miss Quinn had worked with the children organising and planning the party. A fun day was had by all and the children looked great in their fancy dress.

Tesco Vouchers

Thanks to all the parents who contributed Tesco Vouchers to the school. We used the vouchers to buy musical instruments for the school which ties in with the work we are doing presently with the SELB's music service.
